Qualifications: Diploma in Hotel Management, BA (Hons) Hospitality Management, UK. Masters in Personnel Management, PhD. in Revenue Management.


Dr.Jayaram has the honour of being India’s first PhD. in Hospitality Revenue Management, a senior academic at IHM-A, he leads a unique partnership as Member Secretary on the Board of Governors between Maulana Azad Educational Trust, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) and University of Huddersfield, UK for the past 24 years.


Lead from the front being his mantra, he is responsible for guiding a diverse team of colleagues, while also overseeing the growth and development of a thousand personalities: students, staff, faculty and executives at IHM- Aurangabad. His dedication towards the institute is unmatched, the energy to reckon with at IHM-A where 180 students graduate each year, with the only Government approved international degree in India.


Dr.Jayaram is an alumnus of Cornell School of Hotel Administration’s General Manager’s Program, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad’s Revenue Management Program and also serves as a Subject Expert for the Ministry of Human Resources Development with All India Council for Technical Education’s – All India Board for Hospitality and Tourism Management.


He wears many hats depending on multiple situations as he shoulders various responsibilities with a unique mastery after three decades in the hospitality world. His forte remains motivating and preparing the next generation for future leadership. Industry partnerships, network learning platforms, long term alumni relationships, international affiliations and learning advancements drive his passionate involvement. He speaks multiple Indian languages owing to a rich cross cultural exposure throughout his career. His love for writing finds expression in many communication releases and business writings.


He brings a definitive leadership energy to all his team members and students. On the personal front, his many interests include music, singing, sketching, painting and art appreciation. Jerry as students refer to him outside work, expresses himself through eloquent, intense poetry and loves jam sessions with our Indie rock band RevPAR that was created to celebrate his love for the spirit of our youth.
