Meena Sinha is an Associate Professor, Personal Development Planning for both BA (Hons) degree programs, Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, at the Institute of Hotel Management, Aurangabad. She has a teaching experience of 24 years.
In her early career, Meena Sinha has worked as a lecturer in English at the graduation level colleges and has also taught Business Communication and Managerial Skills at the post graduate level Management College. Later, she got into Corporate Training for mid-level managers as a Soft Skills Trainer. In 2005, she joined MIT, an engineering college at Aurangabad, as an Assistant Professor in Technical Communication and headed a department of Basic Sciences and Humanities for two years before moving to IHM-A in 2011. Her competence and interests at IHM-A allow her to train students for soft skills including linguistic skills. She is also on the cultural committee to organize co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. She has various responsible and diverse roles at the institute being attached with many committees. She prepares the students for employment related skills required in the hospitality industry.
Meena Sinha’s compilation of research interests include ‘Study on Evolving Personalities with Intelligent Quotient, Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence’, ‘Make in India – Critical Perspective of Skill Development’, “A Study of Corporate Skills and Its Essential Components”, ‘Future world: Exploring Sustainable Management from Inside Out’ with doctoral studies focused on the Corporate Skills Application in MNCs and TNCs.
