Associate Professor and Course Leader: Culinary Arts

Pursuing Msc. in Hotel Management, DHMCT.

 

T. Pramod is an Associate Professor and Course Leader for the Culinary Arts Program at IHM-A. He teaches Food Production Operation as a subject for Culinary Arts students in addition to Management subjects. He also carries the responsibility of being the Year Tutor for Year 1, Culinary Arts Program. Maintaining discipline and adherence to the course requirements have always topped his list of priorities.

 

Pramod started his career with Taj Group of Hotels as a Chef in 1993 and had held various positions in different hotels. He moved abroad in late 90’s to work with Cunard Sea Bourn Company in their super luxury ship “M/s Caronia” and had held the post of Galley Chef there. On his return, he joined the Taj Hotels again and has been associated with the brand since then. Progressively he has held the position of Executive Chef with multiple Hotels of Taj during his career. He moved to the L&D department at Taj in 2008 and had been the L&D Manager for the Taj Hotels of Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. He was responsible for rolling out the e-learning system of Taj at different units of the company.

 

He has been associated with IHM-A since 2014, imparting hand-on knowledge and experience to enthusiastic young minds for over 6 years.
